I immigrated to Canada from Portsmouth, UK in 1966. I now live in Hamilton, Ontario with Denis, my husband and friend for thirty plus years. After spending 20 years as a sheep farmer I started work as a free lance photorapher with my own small business in 1999. Although I am based in Hamilton I enjoy travel and you will see images in my galleries of faraway places.
I was born and raised by the sea, for which I have a strong affinity; consequently my work often features water. Ideas and inspiration come from journeys both real and virtual in my quest to push the boundaries of creativity. Combining a passion for photography and the world around us, I aim to capture moments to make the heart sing.
My photographic interests are broad and include architecture, still life, abstract, animals, orchids, forgotten places, urban landscape, shadows and reflections.
I have participated in several exhibitions and enjoy meeting and exchanging ideas with other artists. I am experienced in all aspects of photography and digital imaging for:
- books
- portfolios and CD catalogues
- brochures and websites
- advertising
